Photography
I've always enjoyed the beauty of nature and photography is the best way to preserve that
beauty in a personal way. My favorite photos are done in minutia, or up very close. These
often reveal nuances that might otherwise be missed, especially since the camera can zoom
in on certain elements we can't see with the naked eye.
I hope you enjoy looking at nature through my camera's eye.
We offer prints of each photo for sale at the following rate.

The Crystal Series
Each of these is an up close view of natural crystals. The "AB" refers to the Aurora Borealis finish that gives the rainbow effect to the surface. I do not know if this is a natural finish or has been added, but the colors are very striking. None of these crystal formations is larger than 2".

The Condensation Series
Each of these is an up close view condensation. The upper two are a plastic bag full of Bonsai Soil that has moisture inside the bag. The bottom two are condensation on a glass window.

The Dichroic Glass Series
Talented glass artists create cabochons from Dichroic Glass which has the unusual characteristic of changing color with the changing angle of the light. I use these beautiful cabochons to make jewelry.

Would you like to have a very special visit with a gray fox in rural
Alabama? I call her Ms. Vixen. She's at least 4 years old and has had
several liters of pups. Click the pictures below to see her on a warm
May evening in 2007 eating peanuts.

Note:
The fox pictures below are not of the best quality,
but they were taken in the dark with only the help
of a hand held spotlight.
It has taken years of patience to have gotten close
enough to capture the foxes and the raccoon on
camera.
